Type | Basic Incense - Resin |
Plant | Daniellia Olivierii |
Provenance | Burkina Fasu |
Aroma | Sweet and spicy, with notes of cinnamon and cloves and enriched by a pungent nuance typical of Boswellie resin. |
History and Tradition | This resin, used by some local tribes of Burkina Fasu as incense, was collected and imported by us for the first time in 2017. Its wood is widely used in a variety of ways such as joinery, interior coatings, furniture, construction of boats, toys, troughs for livestock, drums, bowls, rice mortars, crates for packaging and also as firewood. |
Information | In agreement with some villages of Burkina Fasu, we have financed the collection of the resin and import it, in order to be able to propose a new product and, at the same time, help the local populations. |
