History and TraditionBoswellia dalzielii is the West African species of the Frankincense. It was used in ethnomedicine to treat gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatism and various diseases of microbial origin. It was also used for its relaxing and harmonizing effect. It leaves a pleasant feeling of cleanlines.
InformationThis resin carbonizes so it is better to remove the grains as soon as they start to become black and replace them with new ones. An other solution is pulverized the resin before burning it.
